Back Beneficial:- Results in conformational change that improves the performance of the protein- Individual better suited for survivalNeutral:- Occurs in phenotypically insignificant DNA strands- No change in polypeptide sequence (degenerate code)- No damaging effect to protein functionHarmful:- Conformational change producing a non-functional protein

Front What happens in the Krebs Cycle?
Back A series of oxidation-reduction reactions.Acetylcoenzyme A is combined with a 4-carbon compound (oxaloacetate) to produce a 6-carbon compound (citrate) in the mitochondrion matrix. At two points a molecule of CO2 is removed which allows the 4-carbon compound to be recycled.During these reactions, several electrons are removed from the reactants and transferred to the coenzymes producing reduced NAD and FAD.
