This high-quality Anki deck contains notes with simplified characters, pinyin, counters, English translation, IPA, audio, and pictures.
Compared to a language like French, Mandarin has a very high memorization burden. Thankfully, that's the hardest part!
Chinese characters often have many meanings associated with them -- this deck only has one definition per note. Some characters appear in multiple note. It's my hope to add to this deck as I have time. Check back occasionally for corrections and additional cards.
These decks are time consuming to make! (20+ hours) If this ends up useful, please consider giving it a rating to help others find it. IF YOU FIND ANY ERRORS, please leave them in the review below, and I'll fix it for everyone.

- NOTE ON DECK CUSTOMIZATION -
By default, the card templates of this deck will not quiz you on counters or character identification. However, adding these cards is fairly easy. I've found memorizing counters and characters is much easier after going through the deck as is.
If you plan on memorizing the characters as well, I highly recommend starting with the radicals. I made a (just okay) Anki deck on the most frequent 100 characters, which you can find here:
