Japanese N5 (MLT)

Language/Japanese
Hi, Thanks for checking out the deck! This is the first deck of a series I am releasing using Japanese simplified descriptions to let users develop a natural intuition for the way certain words are used in Japanese. The aim of these decks is to allow users to transition into reading Japanese seamlessly as they level up through their studies. All cards include 1, or more descriptions for each word in simplified Japanese, taken directly from online simplified Japanese dictionaries, or from native speakers when entries could not be found in a dictionary (such as slang, or sayings). The cards also include the meaning of the word in English (in very small font). The reason for this is that the user should not be able to accidentally read the answer in English, thus robbing themselves of the opportunity to read and understand the meaning of the word in Japanese, the language it was intended to be understood in. When you first see a card, feel free to read the English descriptions. After that, if you forget a word, try to use the Japanese description to jog your memory. Ideally, when you can think about the answer to a card, using a Japanese description, you are well on your way to being functional in the language. I will continue to release these decks from N5, through to N1 and then advanced levels 1 to 7, totaling around 17,000 words all up.
