On the front side, you’ll see the name of the lake in kanji and a type-answer field where you type the kana (hiragana) reading . On the back side, you’ll find the reading, a map showing the lake’s location within Japan, its area, the City/town/village where it is located, an audio clip pronouncing the lake's name in Japanese, and a photo of the lake, and also fixed mobile layout

For recalling the lake location cards: on the front, you will see a map of the lake and a type in answer field where you type the lake's name in kanji/hiragana

Everyone is welcome to use it, and feel free to give feedback if you know a way to improve it even further! 🙏 This deck is heavily based (almost exactly the same) on this Original deck: [https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1477663078] All I did was add missing audio and minor corrections as adding the name of a lake (松川浦), rearrange the anki browser using the lake name instead of the lake and make all cards "type in" cards, I also added images of the lakes themselves for reference. Most of this updates were done using AI (for the audio) and scripts (for the photo of the lakes) so of there is any mistake feel free to comment it

🧑‍💻 How to type Japanese on your keyboard On Windows / Mac: Install a Japanese IME (Input Method Editor) from your system language settings. Switch your input mode to Japanese — usually done by pressing Alt + Shift (Windows) or Command + Space (Mac) to toggle between languages. Make sure the IME is set to “Hiragana” mode. Type the romaji (e.g., toukyou → とうきょう) On Android / iPhone: Add a Japanese keyboard in your device settings → Language & Keyboard. Once installed, you can usually switch keyboards by pressing and holding the globe 🌐 icon (or space bar on some Android keyboards) to choose Japanese. Type normally in hiragana.
