Body Parts, Medical Terms, and Related Words in Japanese

Anatomy

This deck is intended for an intermediate Japanese learner. It contains cards for a moderately wide set of body parts and basic medical and psychology terms. Both Japanese to English and English to Japanese are provided. Because it is for intermediate learners, I have not included some very basic terminology.

The cards include the pitch information in the standard notation, i.e., [0], etc. For verbs and adjectivals, the pitch information usually is for the base (dictionary) form, even if the form in the card is conjugated. In cases where I found pitch information for the conjugated form, I indicate that by repeating the conjugated form on a separate line containing just the conjugated form, e.g., 早く[1]. [?] indicates that I couldn't find any pitch information for the word. As with standard dictionaries, two or more stress symbols for a given word indicate alternatives, i.e., 就く[1] [2] indicates that this word can be stressed on the first or second syllable.
