This Anki set is for all the vocabulary found in All Things Considered: Revised Edition (The Princeton Language Program: Modern Chinese) Revised, Bilingual Edition ISBN-13: 978-0691153100 or ISBN-10: 0691153108
*** Includes all cards from Ch 1 to Ch 32
*** All cards include audio (from google voice, it is a spectacular voice).
*** All cards are tagged with their corresponding lesson number in case you want to create a custom set with only a specific lesson plan on it.
*** Moreover, all cards are also tagged with a short version of chapter name (because sometimes it helps to know what chapter a card is from for those sweet context cues!) For example, chapter 1 is boodID as 刚到中国, chapter 2 as 租自行车, etc. You can activate this by changing the card type to include it. Excluded by default.
*** Colored characters are set by default to help with pinyin memorization
+++++ green = 1st tone because grass is flat and green
+++++ yellow = 2nd tone because the sun rises in the morning upwards
+++++ blue = 3rd tone because the ocean waves go up and down
+++++ red = 4th tone because sunset is red.
You can change this by clicking in [BROWSE], click on [CARDS...], then edit the following
<div class=chinese>{{Color}}</div>
<div class=chinese>{{Hanzi}}</div>
OR IF you want to see TRADITIONAL CHARACTERS, edit this part to
<div class=chinese>{{Traditional}}</div>.
If you learn a little bit of coding, you can use any field you want on these cards and edit to your pleasure.
