Japanese Counters

Language/Japanese

Japanese can be confusing when counting pretty much anything. That's because Japanese uses 'counters'; some lists go as far as 500 of them. My list is based on : https://www.tofugu.com/japanese/japanese-counters-list/ which lists and illustrates 350 of them. I 'just' put their list on Anki with voiced iteration generated with https://soundoftext.com/. A good article to help you handle counting is : https://www.tofugu.com/japanese/counting-in-japanese/

If Tofugu asks to remove the deck, I will.

Have fun !
