Hello Chinese Main Course HSK1 - Lessons 1 to 11

Language/Chinese

I've been studying chinese HSK courses and I've found that the Hello Chinese app is a great tool to support that. I've been making Flash cards with Anki for revision of the words covered in their lessons. Here, I've shared a collection of decks that each correspond to the words that are introduced in the first 11 lessons in the Hello Chinese app's standard course. These are the lessons that are marked on the app as being up to HSK1 level . The front side of the deck of course has a word. The reverse side is where I've put in most of the work, collecting information from various resources including the ones mentioned below. Each card's answer features a variety of information to support the learned word. These include (for most cards):

  • link to online chinese dictionary for that word (https://dictionary.hantrainerpro.com/)
  • link to audio of native speaker pronouncing the word (mostly from https://dictionary.hantrainerpro.com/)
  • information about character components (www.dong-chinese.com/wiki/search)
  • A sample sentence using the word
  • Illustration of stroke order (https://www.writtenchinese.com/)
