Listen to Chinese sentences and phrases, then type what you hear to test your listening abilities.

The sentences and audio are from Tatoeba, sourced from this deck, which contained all of the Mandarin Chinese sentences from Tatoeba that had an audio recording at that time.

418 of the notes did not have translations, so I translated those with Google Translate. I also added pinyin to all 1,678 notes and modified the card template to display it on the back. Google Translate is imperfect and there are likely some errors in these fields. Feel free to use the contact and let me know if you have thoughts on how to improve the deck.

The note type was created by Ben from Refold, which is explained in this video and shared here. Ben also shared a python script for creating these cards automatically from YouTube videos, which I've done but not to my satisfaction because of how sentences are cut up in subtitles. I may share decks made this way in the future if I can resolve this issue.
