This deck contains recordings of dissonant intervals (seconds, sevenths and tritones). It's created to train the ear to recognize the intervals, played harmonically (i.e. both notes at once).
Here are the main features:
- Contains dissonant intervals, played harmonically (i.e. both notes as once).
- Intervals are played out of any particular key.
- Range*: from A2-flat to F4 (generally comfortable hearing range)
- Normalized volume, loud enough for earphones.
- All intervals are in random order by default.
- Recorded using electronic piano (doesn't sound awful).
* Note: This deck doesn't cover every possible combination of notes in this range for every interval, only about half of them. It's perfectly fine for developing relative pitch, but musicians with perfect pitch may find this deck lacking (I have no idea, since I'm not one of them).
This deck is new and untested,
please send feedback if you experience any issues with it.
