I love the Official KanjiDamage Anki Deck (I went through it myself), but I also wanted to learn the vocab that went with the Kanji. So I made this deck, which includes cards for learning three things:
Kanji meanings
Kanji Onyomi
Vocabulary (both from KanjiDamage and Core6k)
(Note: I excluded radical cards from this deck, mainly so the cards could be text-only.)
One reason I think KanjiDamage is awesome is the order that Kanji are presented. This deck preserves that ordering, and builds on top of it: the Kanji and Onyomi are in the KanjiDamage order, and the vocab terms are ordered so you only learn them after you've learned all the Kanji they use.
Also, the three types of cards (meanings, Onyomi, and vocab) are spaced, so that you should only learn the Onyomi of a Kanji after you've learned the meaning of the Kanji, and you should only learn the vocab after you've learned the meaning and Onyomi of all the Kanji in the word.
Finally, this deck uses the Core6k deck to teach vocab with sentences and audio. Again, the special bit here is the order: You only learn a Core6k word after learning all the kanji for that word. The Core6k is especially nice because it gives audio and sentence context for the kanji. I should point out though that there are duplicates between the KanjiDamage vocab terms and the Core6k vocab terms, so I would suggest suspending all of one or the other. Or, like me, suspend duplicates as you find them while studying the deck.
Credit to u/linkofinsanity19 for encouraging me to incorporate the Core6k into this deck. Thanks!
Note: This deck doesn't include all of the Core6k. It only includes those terms that are included in KanjiDamage, which rates each term with a usefulness of 0 stars (not very useful) to 5 stars (very useful). I had to separate the deck into two pieces to be able to upload it to ankiweb. The other deck, which has the rest of the Core6k vocab words also (mostly) in KanjiDamage order, is here:
