Essential Architecture

History
Due to COVID, many of us are stuck at home, unable to do what we enjoy most: travel and visit beautiful places. This deck brings the finest pieces of architecture to your device, so you can discover, learn about and enjoy the world's most influencial, beautiful or unusual structures built by humankind. The deck features 144 notes with buildings from all continents, spanning a time period of 6 millenia. You'll learn to recognize, name and locate a wide range of famous buildings. Images are displayed in a gallery section at the top of the card, and additional info about the building can be shown at the bottom of the card when required. My goal was to create a fun and interesting way to expand my knowledge of culture, history and geography. The collection is admittedly quite euro-centric, but I hope to expand the list in the future! You can also download this deck via Google Drive here.
