This is the Anki deck I used to learn Chinese characters. It is not a Chinese vocabulary deck; its intended purpose is to learn characters only. I recommend using it if you are learning Chinese and want to learn characters at the same time, or if you are fluent in spoken Mandarin but have little knowledge of the writing system (so vocabulary isn't an issue). I hope people find it useful (I created it manually before I knew how to webscrape, so this took a lot of time to compile).
Each note is one character, with the following cards:
- A card to recall the pronunciation (pinyin) of a character
- A card to write the character given its definition and pinyin (to practice writing/stroke order)
- A final card to recall the character given only its definition.
The last 2 cards are optional, since they only make sense for some cards (e.g. you probably don't care about writing rare/obscure characters, and some characters have the same definition, so you can't uniquely recall the character given its definition).

One final note: there are a lot of characters for chemical compounds, since I study chemistry. Feel free to delete these from the deck; they are useless to most people.
