Japanese Core Vocab: New and Improved

This deck is based entirely on the relatively popular deck "Japanese Core Vocab (big one". Big thanks to the person who compiled the core decks and the author of the core decks themselves. As to the data contained, I don't make any claims of originality, let alone legal ones. Here's the link: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/2112246396 I have not added any notes to the ones provided in the above deck whatsoever. However, I have made a number of quality of life changes which in my opinion improve the overal ease of use dramatically. What this deck improves/adds: --- Card design that looks nice both on desktop and on mobiles, night mode supported as well --- Added a field "Notes", so that users can add custom info that will appear on the card --- Option to choose between three notes types, namely "front: English", "front: Japanese", and "front: cloze" to optimise your learning experience --- Note types which include pitch accent info (thanks to MIA Japanese) --- Frequency score (if available) indicated on the top left of all cards --- All tags are either prefixed by "js::core" or "zzzCORE::", so if you have hierarchical tags installed, they don't make your browser a mess anymore --- Duplicates were deleted --- Added two fields "Sentence Cloze" and "Source". You don't need to bother with either one of them --- Changed the field containing the keyword to "Expression" (this helps for Japanese support add on and duplicate checking) Some downsides: --- The tags prefixed by "zzzCORE" should be prefixed by sth shorter. At the moment, I just don't want to spend another hour or so correcting this --- In the process of deleting duplicates, a few thousand words were lost Please leave comments if you have any suggestions on how to improve this deck, what to add and what to change. As this is a giant deck, be sure to use the tags and to sort by the field "Frequency" from the browser to find cards useful to your level. Cheers!
