Separates the guitar fretboard into Frets 0-5 and Frets 6-11. The visual decks shows you the position and you type in the name of the note (Capital Letter). The verbal decks name a note and you enter the positions of that note on each string using SFF notation, e.g., 5th string 7th fret = 507.
