This deck contains Tier II academic vocabulary words. These words not commonly used in modern day speech. They are frequently found in the documents used in AP history classes. All of the words in this deck were found in released AP World History and AP US History exams.
Tier II vocabulary words are frequently used in academic settings, like classrooms and standardized exams. They are not commonly used in spoken English or explicitly taught in classrooms. For these reasons, students are often unfamiliar with Tier II vocabulary words. This deck is intended to help students master this critical aspect of the exam by improving their reading comprehension and document analysis skills.
