According to Wikipedia, "The prefectures of Japan are the country's 47 first-order subnational jurisdictions on a state or provincial level: one metropolis, Tokyo; one territory, Hokkaido; two urban prefectures, Osaka and Kyoto; and 43 other prefectures."
There are fifty-five notes, one for each major geographical area in Japan. The front of each card shows a map with the target area shaded. The back shows the area name in kanji, kana, and English. As usual, the fields are customizable. You can make the images smaller, for cell phone use. At current sizes, the images are just fine for iPhone-sized displays. If you're content with just the English, there's no need to display the Japanese. All the maps are in public domain. The deck itself is under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License.
