Recognition Remembering the kanji 1 + 3 [RRTK630]

Language/Japanese

RRTK 630

This deck is a middle ground between RRTK1250 and RRTK450 with the added bonus of having the primitives on SVG instead of images and a functional note type. I went through the 450 list and found it to be missing certain steps, for example there were some primitives without example kanji and one primitive left out of the list to be studied on the second deck that completes the RRTK1250 list. So I added some other kanji from RRTK1250 to fill in the gaps while keeping it more compact than the 1000 kanji list. This deck goes on to complete RRTK1250, then the rest of the first RTK book and then RTK3.

Reverse

It is recommended to stop after the first 630 and learn new ones as you find them in words during immersion, it gets easier once you know all the primitives. Anyways, this deck includes all of RTK 1 and 3 so you can use it as a bank.

For more info on the layout and contents of this deck see the Production deck.

myStory
heisigStory Here you have a perfect example of how an apparently impossible snarl of strokes becomes a snap to learn once you know its elements. The idea of being admonished for something already sets up a superior-inferior relationship between you and the person you are supposed to stand in awe of. While you are restricted to answering in honorifics, the superior can use straightforward and ordinary words.
heisigComment
koohiiStory1 To admonish is to enforce awe by means of words.
koohiiStory2 Watch in awe as mom admonishes the rude clerk with words that you´ve never heard her use before.
